This product may be used for the short-term treatment of the following infections: – Upper respiratory tract infections (including ear, nose and throat): e.g. recurrent tonsillitis. -Lower respiratory tract infections: e.g. acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, lobar pneumonia and bronchopneumonia. -Sinusitis. -Middle ear infections. -Genitourinary tract infections: e.g. cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis. -Skin and soft tissue infections: e.g. boils, abscesses, cellulitis, traumatic infections. -Bone and joint infections: e.g. osteomyelitis. -Other infections: e.g. abdominal infections. It can also be used to prevent infections in major surgeries, such as: gastrointestinal, pelvic, head, neck, heart, kidney, joint transplants and biliary tract surgery.
